Travel & Safety
The Flapper Life was started to provide a one-of-a-kind travel experience for women of all backgrounds. We believe travelling can open doors to understanding yourself better. Travelling with us includes luxurious and comfortable travel, stay, sight-seeing, and genuine bonding. You will feel secure in your own company - because for us, this is not just a business. It's a way to enrich people through travel.
In most cases, yes. However, due to uncertain climatic conditions or political disturbances, a trip may need to be postponed or called off. In all other scenarios, we require a minimum of 5 travellers (excluding the Flapper Buddy) to confirm a departure.
Our trip manager - known as your 'Flapper Buddy' - will be with you from start to finish. She'll guide you through your trip and accompany you to all itinerary locations. She is not a tour guide; she's there to look after your safety and manage the journey. Think of her as your most capable travel companion.
You can bring along a friend, sister, mother, or daughter - all are welcome. We also have many women who choose to travel solo, and they're never truly alone. Solo travel holds strong appeal because it's how you meet like-minded women and build lasting bonds during the journey.
Bookings & Payments
You are free to cancel at any time at no additional cost - you'll receive a no-expiry credit note for future travel.
Refund note: If you'd prefer a monetary refund, 25% of the trip amount will be deducted if the cancellation is received within 10 days of the trip commencement date.
We currently accept RTGS and NEFT modes of payment. Our team will share the bank details once you confirm your spot.
Please do not book without consulting the TFL team first, especially regarding Covid-19 protocols and destination-specific requirements.

Absolutely, yes! Single occupancy is available on request. Do note the cost will be higher than the shared room rate. You can also opt for single occupancy as an additional upgrade even after booking.
We take roommate matching seriously. We match based on potential compatibility - your likes, dislikes, age group, cultural background, and city. Your comfort matters the most to us, and we put real thought into making sure you feel at ease from day one.
Community
The average age of our travellers ranges between 30 to 50. It's wonderful to see women of all life stages step out to pursue the dream of solo or group travel.
We've hosted everyone from working women and new mothers to women over 60 - engineers, writers, bankers, students, and retired women. Variety truly is the spice of life.
All kinds. Right from working women and new mothers to women over 60. You'll find engineers, writers, bankers, students, and retired professionals all on the same journey. The beauty is in that mix - every trip is different because every group is.
Group sizes vary by trip and season. On average, our trips have between 6-10 women, including the Flapper Buddy. This keeps things intimate enough for genuine connection, while giving you enough space to breathe.
